License Plate Recognition Success

This last week marked another success for the LPR network in the City Bowl, as an alert was raised about a suspect vehicle entering the area.

A team of dedicated and trained community members monitored the vehicle from a safe distance, while Law Enforcement and the Flying Squad remained on standby, ready to intervene if a crime took place.

Their vigilance paid off—when a crime was committed, the response was swift and coordinated. Multiple suspects were apprehended, tools used for vehicle theft were seized, and a stolen vehicle was recovered within minutes of the theft.
