Two men arrested for car break-ins

Combined efforts by SAPS, private security companies, neighbourhood watch members and traffic officials led to the arrest of a number of law-breakers over the weekend.

On Thursday October 29, two men were arrested in connection with car break-ins.

The first was a 36-year-old man whom police arrested in Woodside Road, Tamboerskloof, for attempting to break into a parked car, while the second was a 29-year-old who had smashed the side window of a car parked at Solan and Wembley roads, Gardens, around 5pm.
