On April 14th, the community came together at the German School to hear what’s next for our neighbourhood. With over 130 residents in attendance, one thing became clear — Tamboerskloof is ready for the next chapter.
After 18 years of dedicated service tackling crime and grime, TBKwatch is evolving. Enter TBK 4.0 — a bold, smart upgrade built on years of hard-won experience.
Here’s the plan:
With just R250/month from TBKWatch members, we’ll unlock:
- A full-time operations manager
- Expanded camera coverage (from 80 to 120!)
- A dedicated patrol vehicle on duty 24/7
- All this, on top of the strong infrastructure and services already in place
But this only works if you commit.
Setting up a monthly debit order is all it takes to keep TBKWatch alive, sustainable, and independent.
The alternatives?
- A CID for just 40% of the suburb — more expensive and tied to your rates bill. A YES vote for the CID, means a vote for a R8,31m budget. That’s not the future we want.
- A void where there is no proactive watch or patrol.
