Congratulations to Cllr Francine Higham on Her New Appointment!

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news for our community! Councillor Fran Higham, who has served as Ward Councillor for parts of the City Bowl and Bo-Kaap since 2021, has been appointed as the City’s new Mayoral Committee Member for Community Services and Health.

Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis recognized Cllr Higham’s valuable insights and experience, stating that she “brings valuable insight into the daily challenges the City faces in its mission to ensure quality community facilities and parks for Capetonians.”

This appointment is fantastic news for our community, as Cllr Higham has a deep understanding of the needs and priorities of our residents. We’re confident that she will continue to be a strong advocate for our community in her new role.
