Have Your Say! Important Public Participation Opportunities
Want to make a difference in your community? Now’s your chance! The City of Cape Town is currently seeking public input on several important initiatives. Here’s a breakdown of how you can get involved:
1. Ward Allocation Budget for 2026/27
The Subcouncil is developing its budget for the next financial year and wants to hear your ideas! This is your opportunity to propose projects and initiatives that you believe will benefit our community.
- How to Participate:
- Download the Wish List notice and template (This can be done via the CIBRA Website under the general notices tab).
- Complete the documentation with your proposals.
- Email your completed forms to: Zimkita.Swartbooi@

- Deadline: 18 March 2025 (no late submissions will be accepted)
2. Cape Town Biodiversity Spatial Plan 2025
The City is updating its Bioregional Plan and wants your feedback on the draft Cape Town Biodiversity Spatial Plan 2025. This plan will guide how we protect and manage our valuable natural resources.

3. Draft Wayleaves Policy and By-law
